FACTS	WHAT DOES VECTOR.DEV LLC (DON) DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Why?	Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
What?	The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include: your email address or phone number account balances and transaction history from accounts you connect the questions you ask Don and your budgets and goals
How?	All financial companies need to share customers' personal information to run their everyday business. In the section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers' personal information; the reasons Don chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

Who we are
Who is providing this notice?	vector.dev LLC, a California limited liability company, which operates Don (the Don iOS app and don.financial). 455 Market St Ste 1940 PMB 109992, San Francisco, CA 94105-2448.

What we do

How does Don protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Our computer safeguards include encrypted connections, field-level encryption of bank connection tokens, and hashed session tokens and passcodes.

How does Don collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

create an account with your email address or phone number
connect your bank accounts or import transactions
ask Don a question or set a budget or goal

We also collect your personal information from others, such as the financial institutions you connect through Plaid.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness
affiliates from using your information to market to you
sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Our affiliates include Autolade LLC, a company under common control with vector.dev LLC. Don does not share your information with its affiliates.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Don does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you. We share only with service providers that help us run Don, as the law permits or requires, and with others at your direction. Our service providers are:
- Plaid — bank connections
- Anthropic — AI categorization and the Don assistant
- Apple — App Store purchases and push notification delivery
- Neon — database hosting
- Vercel — hosting
- Inngest — background jobs
- Resend — transactional email and the emails you forward to your @in.don.financial address
- Twilio — text messages
Hppy.dev is vector.dev LLC's own operations monitoring and bug-report service; it is part of vector.dev LLC, not a separate company.

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

Don doesn't jointly market.

Other important information

Advertising. We don't share information about our customers with advertisers. We measure which of our ads bring people to Don only on the welcome screen of our setup page (don.financial/start), before you give us your email address or phone number, and only for US visitors who have not opted out. Nothing about your Don account, your connected accounts or your reports is sent to any ad platform. See “Ad Measurement on Our Setup Page” in our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices.

Connected assistants. If you choose to connect Don to an external assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, we share the information you select with that assistant's provider at your direction. You can disconnect it at any time in Don.
